An idea that I basically stole from my good friend peccaui (who has long since stopped referring to himself in that pseudonym), Mr. Newstyle Videogame Remix Guy! started out as a joke because I found a really great mix one night and I felt like it was my cultural imperative to share it with the world. I did so in a style of what one might consider a lost artform. peccaui used to post weekly mixes he liked on his site and so, consider me to be picking up the reins. Well, that's what I'll be doing if peccaui doesn't bludgeon me to death with a bag of oranges for stealing his idea. We're still pals, right dude?
Now, as everyone knows, music isn't music unless you can drive to it. So, not only will I be providing you with what I consider the cream of the crop when it comes to videogame remixes, but I'll be telling you the exact situation you should be in the car while listening! While I'm doing this you can enjoy my flagrant abuse of musical terms of which I know nothing about. Half the fun of this is watching me act like I'm a real music person when I can barely tell the difference between "treble" and "trebled". Everybody wins!
If there's a nicer guy out there I don't care to meet him. Not one bit.
